1. What is happening?
Beacon is now part of QXO. While the name is changing, you’ll continue working with the same people and receiving the same high level of service you trust.
2. Why is this happening? What’s the benefit to me?
QXO is investing in the future:
• Smarter tools to help you save time and grow your business.
• More efficient deliveries and supply chain management.
• Better visibility into products, projects, and orders.
• Stronger innovation to support your business long term.
The goal is to create a faster, easier, and more competitive customer experience for you
3. How will this affect my day-to-day business?
You should see no disruption:
• Orders delivered on time and complete.
• Same account services and support teams.
• Same branch locations and hours.
4. Will my rep, branch, or customer service team change?
No. You’ll continue working with the same reps, teams, and locations you rely on today.
5. Will my pricing, discounts, or reward programs change?
No. Your existing pricing structures, negotiated discounts, and programs will remain the same.
6. Do I need to change anything with my Purchase Orders (POs)?
No. Continue issuing POs just as you have been.
7. Will my billing or payment processes change?
No. Continue issuing POs just as you have been.
• Your payment terms, credit limits, and billing cycles stay the same.
• Starting April 29, the Ship To and Remit To addresses will update to a QXO address.
• New payments should ideally be made out to "QXO, Inc." moving forward.
• However, checks made out to "Beacon" will still be accepted during the transition.
• Please contact our Customer Care team or your Credit Manager if you need an updated W9.
8. Are my credit terms or limits changing?
No. Your current credit terms, payment schedules, and limits remain unchanged.
9. What happens with credit applications and Bectran links?
• After the domain change (weekend of May 2), your rep will send you updated Bectran credit application links.
• The link will reflect the new qxo.com domain (or qxo-canada.com in Canada).
• Until then, existing Beacon Bectran links will continue to work.
10. Will the website or mobile app change?
Slightly at first, more over time:
• You’ll start seeing the QXO logo on the website and mobile app.
• Functionality stays the same — nothing will be taken away.
• Over time, expect new features and technology improvements to make it even easier to do business.
11. What’s happening with PRO+?
• The PRO+ program name is going away.
• All PRO+ features — online ordering, project management, rewards tracking — will still be available on:
• The new QXO.com website.
• The updated QXO mobile app.
• No loss of access or functionality for customers.
12. Will employee emails change?
Yes, but it will be seamless:
• Employee emails will transition to @qxo.com during the weekend of May 2.
• Existing Beacon emails will automatically forward to the new addresses to prevent disruption.
13. What changes will I notice right away?
You’ll start to see QXO branding:
• Invoices and Statements.
• Websites and apps.
• Employee email addresses.
• Store signage and trucks.
But: Your experience — and our commitment to you — remains unchanged.
