Ihsan Essaid

Essaid most recently served as Global Head of M&A at Barclays, after serving as the bank's Co-Head of Global M&A and Co-Head of Americas M&A. He has more than three decades of global investment banking experience advising clients on large-scale M&A and capital markets transactions. During his tenure at Barclays from 2021 to 2024, Essaid advised on transactions totaling more than $50 billion. Before joining Barclays, he served as Managing Director of Media and Telecom M&A at Credit Suisse from 2015 to 2021. Earlier in his career, he served as a Partner at Perella Weinberg Partners.
