Mary Kissel

Kissel is a senior executive and foreign policy expert with more than two decades of experience advising political leaders, CEOs, and institutional investors on geopolitics, markets, and strategy. She serves as Vice Chairman of RXO, a Director of Cadre Holdings and HEYCO Energy Group, and a Nonresident Senior Fellow at Hudson Institute. She also serves as a Director of the American Australian Council and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations. From 2021 to 2026, Kissel led the policy advisory practice she founded at Stephens.. From 2018 to 2021, she served as Senior Advisor to the U.S. Secretary of State. Earlier in her career, Kissel spent 14 years with The Wall Street Journal, where she served on its editorial board in New York and as Editorial Page Editor for Asia-Pacific in Hong Kong.
